On the road again

First stop on our trek to Florida was Delaware Seashore State Park. We took Madison to the beach and let her play in the sand.

The next day Jon wanted to drive on the beach and as you can see below it didn’t work out as planned. An hour later Jon managed to work his way out of the soft sand.

Next stop was Assateague Island National Seashore in Maryland. We were lucky enough to spot some wild horses! The wind was out of control that day and it was about to storm so we didn’t get to stay very long. We decided next time to camp here for a few days instead of just stopping by, after all how many places do you get to stay with wild horses running around?!

After leaving Assateague we took the Chesapeake bay bridge- tunnel to Virginia. The bridge is over 20 miles long and tunnels twice.
