Charleston, South Carolina
Our family enjoyed a few days at Charleston Air Force Base in South Carolina. We walked around the city of Charleston, roamed an aircraft carrier and submarine at Patriots Point, and visited Magnolia Plantation and Gardens.
Below are some of the planes on display at the Air Force Base.
We were in town for the Charleston Green Fair and spent a morning checking out the local crafts and food.
Local street performers.
Madison was intrigued and loved watching everyone dance.

That afternoon we headed to Patriots Point. They had an aircraft carrier from WWII that you could explore.

Aircrafts on the flight deck.
We also got onboard the submarine USS Clamagore.
Our last day in Charleston we spent at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. Unfortunately it wasn’t the best time of year to see flowers but it was still a beautiful day out to explore!
Petting zoo at Plantation
The best part of the petting zoo was the deer! They were roaming all over the place and were super friendly. This was our first time petting a live deer and we were all surprised how soft they were.
Keep your eyes open for our next post, we will be asking “Where’s Madison?” Winner with the best answer will get a surprise!
