Sweet Home Alabama

Well the last week for us has been quite uneventful. Mommy was sick for two days and then daddy seemed to get the same bug the next two days. On top of being sick we also had a bunch of rain , so we spent most of our time in the camper watching movies, doing school work, and reading books. But today was an absolutely beautiful day in Montgomery Alabama and we all feel healthy again so we decided to spend the day outdoors.

In 1961 the river water rose to extreme heights due to several days of rainfall. The pole behind where Daddy and Madison are standing is how high the water had risen. Crazy!

Another look at how high the water was after the rainfall in 1961…would have been way over our heads!

A few days ago we mentioned to our facebook followers that we have BIG news to share in our next blog post. Well we spoke with the sweet family that is renting our house and they let us know they want to sign for another year! Now we know that after everyone was anticipating a baby #2 announcement this might not sound like big news but its such a weight off our shoulders. We no longer have to stress about finding new tenants or have to cut our traveling short. It also means that we can travel an extra 12 months if we want! Everyday we thank God for his continuous blessings.

Baby #2 will have to wait, mommy and daddy still have their hands full with this one… 😉
