Lions, Panthers, and Bobcats oh my!

Today we went on a tour at the Bear Creek Feline Center in Panama City. The owners and staff were very friendly, informative, and take wonderful care of all the animals. We saw Florida Panthers, a Siberian Lynx, North American Bobcats, African Servals, South American Geoffroys, and a Colorado Mountain lion. A few of which we could even go into the enclosures with them! Well except Madison, they said she was to young, so she watched happily from outside the fences and mommy and daddy took turns. Which is probably a good thing because they were eyeing her up like she would make a good snack!

Daddy was going to go in with the Linx but he wasn’t cooperating so they weren’t sure that it would be safe.

Madison really liked the South American Geoffroy…

He was watching her the whole time!

The Geoffroy is only 10lbs and they said the most vicious of all their animals on the premises.

Thanks to the Bear Creek Feline Center for the tour, its not everyday you get to see these animals up close and personal. Everyone that works there is 100% volunteer and you can tell they really love what they do. We hope to visit them again in the future!
