Las Vegas, NV

We spent a week in Las Vegas, NV. Mommy was a little skeptical at first thinking “What can we do with a baby in Vegas?”, but turns out there are TONS of things to do with a family too. There are numerous water fountains to see, aquariums/zoos, bright lights and fun sounds everywhere! When walking through the casinos Madison was in pure heaven, laughing and dancing along to the music. The average temperature while we were there was 105-110, needless to say we drank a lot of water and spent a lot of time indoors enjoying the air conditioning! Below are some photos of our time in Las Vegas…

We walked through The Secret Garden of Siegfried & Roy and saw dolphins, tigers, and lions. Since we have been to many zoo’s throughout the country we weren’t that impressed, it was rather small but it is a kid friendly stop in Las Vegas.

Madison was more interested in eating ice cream than watching the dolphins…

From Las Vegas we took a ride out to see the Hoover Dam. We even got a tour of the power plant.

We were told its good luck to touch the feet of these statues. We already feel pretty lucky but we each took turns touching it anyway…

Unfortunately instead it seemed to give us bad luck because the next day one of our trailer tires completely lost its tread. We had to pull over and put on the spare. This is the second trailer tire we have had a problem with in the last month. Five hundred dollars later we replaced ALL the trailer tires so we shouldn’t have to worry about that again for awhile! The ripped tire also took out some of the wiring from below the camper. We still have yet to figure out what that will effect, most likely the cable won’t work on the tv. Daddy is going to try and fix that today.

After a long drive and the tire fiasco we are excited to say we finally made it to California! Our first RV park has 4 pools and 9 hot tubs! Time to relax 🙂
