Happy 1st Birthday Mason!

We just celebrated Mason’s 1st birthday. Can’t believe how fast this year has went! Thanks to everyone who came out for his party. Although we wish the weather would have been nicer we are grateful for all who came.

On his actual birthday daddy had a full day planned for his special day. First stop was lunch at Corner Baker Café in Baltimore.

We then went to the National Aquarium . Mason squealed (literally) with delight at all the fish. The smile on his face and the joy in his laugh will forever be in my memory.

Next we hit up the B&O Railroad Museum.

To finish off the day we drove to Annapolis for dinner at Boatyard Bar & Grill. We recommend the crab cakes!  Lastly we enjoyed walking around the shops in the area although our stroll was cut short due to rain. Before we left Mason found a place to eat the next time we are in town. (Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls).

We feel truly blessed to have our little man. Although he didn’t sleep through the night for 10 months (yes 10 MONTHS) his smile and charm has made up for all the sleepless nights. Some of his favorite things: Food, Veggie Tales, watching birds, and soft stuffed animals. He can high five and wave bye bye. He has his two bottom teeth and four top teeth coming in. He hasn’t quite mastered walking yet but he is getting really close! His favorite words are “Dada”, “Mama”, “Awe”, and “Oh”. Mason we look forward to this next stage of life with you…. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MASON MICHAEL TOMPKINS!
