Washington DC

There is so much to see in Washington DC! Our family visited two full days and we still haven’t even seen half of what DC has to offer. Everything we did and everything we saw was FREE. Great trip for learning, exploring, exercise, outdoor time, and much more!

Where to Park: Both days we parked for FREE at:
Parking Lot A- National Mall
971 Ohio Drive SW
Washington, DC 20024

From there we walked to everything.

What we saw:
Washington Monument
Cherry Blossoms (The first day we visited they were in full bloom, the next week they were gone)
Lincoln Memorial
Tidal Basin
Jefferson Memorial
White House
Constitution Gardens
National Mall
United States Capitol
United States Botanic Garden
National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden
National Air and Space Museum
MLK Memorial
World War II Memorial
