Hanscom AFB FamCamp
We spent over a week at Hanscom AFB Famcamp in Massachusetts.
Cost: $26 a night includes water, sewer, electric. $24 for just water and electric. Tent sites $10. First come first serve sites. Note: They do not allow school aged children during the school year. If kids are home schooled you must show proof to Hanscom. While our kids are not in school yet I thought it was important to note for other traveling families. I’ve never come across this before.
– Laundry $1 to wash $1 to dry.
-Closest military park to Boston, MA.
-Watching airplanes take off and land. (some people might not like the noise but it doesn’t bother us.)
-Shaded spots and spots in the open.
-Community fire pit to socialize. (No fire pits at site.)
-Less than 10 minutes from commissary and exchange.
-Internet is hit or miss. Most often a miss.
-No cable but antenna does pick up several good channels.
-No park or pool.
-Bathrooms could use a remodel and be cleaner.
